The Miss Alapaha Station Pageant Will Kick Off The 25th Annual Alapaha Station Celebration On November 7Th At 7 Pm At The Alapaha Gym. Pageant Open To All Young Ladies From Ages 1-19. Call Belinda Horten For More Information At 532-4660 Or 532-6115.

“Country Living”.

The Akins Will Headline A Gospel Sing On Friday, November 13th At 7 Pm At The Alapaha Gym.   A Cake Auction At Intermission Will Benefit The Celebration Fund. Tickets Available At The Door For $7.00 Adults And $4.00 For Children.

Activities Will Begin Saturday Morning November 14th With Arts & Crafts Downtown. Call (Renee) 686-0803 Or( Linda) 532-6191 For Booths.

Clogging Will Begin At 9:30 At Alapaha Post Office With Flat Creek Cloggers From Nashville, Ga. And State Prison Cloggers, Lyons, Ga.   Southern Gunslingers From Andersonville, Ga. Will Present A Gunfight At 10 Am Followed By A Big Parade Beginning At 10:30 Am. Parade Will Feature Floats, Beauty Queens, Antique Cars, Bands, Cartoon Characters Etc. Grand Marshal For Parade Will Be Miss Georgia 2009Emily Cook.   Miss Georgia Will Also Appear On The Entertainment Stage And Sign Autographs Following The Parade.

Floats Wishing To Be Judged Should Follow 2009 Theme.   All Entrants In Parade Must Complete Parade Application Form.

Non-Stop Live Entertainment Will Begin Immediately Following The Parade And Will Be Highlighted By The Van Lears In Concert At 4Pm. Other Performers To Include The Kirsten Underwood Band @ 2.30 Pm; Berrien High Band; Gospel & Country Music, And Much More.

A Saturday Night Concert And   Dance With East Beach Blues Band, Tifton, Ga. Is Scheduled For Saturday Night Beginning At 8 Pm At The Alapaha Gym. Tickets Available At The Door For $5.00 Adults And $3.00 Children..

Celebration Will Conclude With Community Worship Service On Sunday, November 15th At 11 Am At The Alapaha Gym With Bro. Robby Rowe. Music Will Be Provided By The Celebration Choir.

Everyone Is Invited To Join The Alapaha Community For A Fun-Packed Weekend Of Family Entertainment.
